Welcome to my Junior Learning Portfolio!
On each page of the portfolio, you will find:
A Standard of Professional Practise for the Teaching Profession
as found on the Ontario College of Teachers website;
An artifact relating to that standard from the ABQ Junior course;
and A rational as to why this artifact is included.
The Purposes of the Standards of Practise for the Teaching Profession are:
• to inspire a shared vision for the teaching profession
• to identify the values, knowledge and skills that are distinctive to the teaching profession
• to guide the professional judgment and actions of the teaching profession
• to promote a common language that fosters an understanding of what it means
to be a member of the teaching profession.
